Our chorus was chartered with Sweet Adeline's International over 40 years ago and we have been singing in and around the Greater Grand Forks area since then. We have even performed in Washington, DC and sang at the World War II Memorial in 2004.
We are an active chorus of 20+ members ranging from their 20s into their 80s each with a variety of talents and careers. Rehearsals are always open to guests and interested singers. Membership is open year round in all voice parts. Musical selections range from traditional to contemporary and everything in-between.
The original San Angelo chapter formed in 1955, but went inactive after a few years. The chapter was reactivated in 1970-71 and was named the Twin Mountain Tonesmen. After a couple of years, the chapter went inactive again until it was reactivated in 1979. Since that time, the chapter has had slow but steady growth and today has an active membership of approximately 20-40 men.
Beginning in the late 1980's, the chorus began winning Society-sponsored contests at both the Division level (West Texas area) and the Southwestern District level (Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arkansas, and Louisiana). As of 2001, the chorus has won the Division I contest numerous times, placed second in the new Southwest Division contest and has won the Southwestern District Small Chorus competition a record five times.

Una Voce traces its origins to the critically acclaimed Vox Nova Chamber Choir, which concluded its ninth concert season in June, 2018. When founding Director Shannon Chase decided to pursue other opportunities, the Vox Nova singers quickly reorganized as Una Voce Chamber Choir. Its Board of Directors then appointed twenty year veteran choral conductor Virgil Bozeman IV as the choir's first Artistic Director.
Una Voce performs mostly a cappella. Occasionally its programs include solo and ensemble instrumentalists. While not neglecting choral favorites, the choir specializes in intimate chamber music that employs complex chords, multiple rhythms, and elegant dissonances. Its auditioned members, many of whom are trained performers, music educators and professional choir directors, live in mid coast, central and southern Maine.
Una Vocis began with Artistic Director Dennis Lee's vision of a mixed voice choir of such sonority that it was worthy of the name "One of Voice." Una Vocis has grown from 28 singers in March 2005 to the current 39 members, many of whom hail from area towns as small as a couple hundred citizens. Una Vocis challenges its members' musical talents and fosters a supportive community among its singers; it is an important creative outlet for members whose occupations range from farmer to physician and from music educator to stay-at-home mom. Una Vocis performs two major concerts each season and has been guest choir four times for the annual Iowa Choral Directors Association Summer Symposium.

With humble roots in caroling around the city during the 2009 holiday season, the group got its first big break performing at a small cafee called Lincoln Perk in the summer of 2010 to a capacity crowd. The group continues to host bi-annual concerts and is currently recording their very first album.

The ensemble performs a variety of music ranging from traditional choral music, including sea chanteys and patriotic fare, to opera, Broadway, and contemporary music. Under the leadership of Senior Chief Musician Georgina L. Todd, the Sea Chanters perform for the public throughout the United States. At home in Washington, D.C., they perform for the President, Vice President and numerous congressional, military and foreign dignitaries. In 1956, Lt. Harold Fultz, then the band's assistant leader, organized a group from the Navy School of Music to sing chanteys and patriotic songs for the State of the Nation dinner. An immediate success, Admiral Arleigh Burke, then Chief of Naval Operations, transferred them to the Navy Band, named them the Sea Chanters and tasked this all-male chorus with perpetuating the songs of the sea. In 1980, the group added women to their ranks and expanded their repertoire to include everything from Brahms to Broadway.

We'll sing, laugh and make beautiful music together, whether you're a seasoned pro or a first-time singer. Let's raise our voices and spread the joy of music in our community!
Utah Voices was created by a handful of dedicated, hardworking people who truly love to sing. It is the culmination of the dreams and united vision of individuals who are passionate about making music. We desire to provide a unique and fulfilling musical opportunity to those who sing with us as well as those for whom we perform.
Utah Voices rests on the fundamental principle that most people love to sing, and should have access to a place in which to sing. Utah Voices serves people in the Salt Lake Valley and surrounding areas who want to make and hear great choral music.
Members of Utah Voices love to sing and commit voluntarily to the group. We vary in skill from having no previous choral experience to having had substantial vocal training. Some of us are still learning to read music; others are practiced sight-readers. We range in age from twenty-somethings to senior citizens. We are business people, students, educators, engineers, homemakers, and retirees. We are a dedicated core of members who are enthusiastic about our mission and our choral involvement is an important priority in our lives. We give of ourselves, to each other, and to our community and feel we are richer for doing so.

In 1982, a gathering of women met to organize a small community chorus in Stillwater, Minnesota. One year later, the Vallee de Croix Chorus was established as members of Sweet Adelines International (SAI), a worldwide organization of women singers committed to advancing the musical art form of barbershop harmony through education, competition and performance.
The Vallee de Croix has traveled together sharing our love of music and friendship both near and far. We've performed in many locations including Phoenix, Detroit, Columbus, Winnipeg and Innsbruck, Austria. Closer to home, we perform for local festivals and fairs, at the Como Park Pavilion and the Old Historic Courthouse in Stillwater. We sing at area churches while church choirs are on summer break and at area senior living centers and nursing homes. During the holiday season, we perform at an annual holiday show and go caroling at local businesses.
While Stillwater is our home base, our members come from many areas of the St Croix Valley and Twin Cities area including Scandia, Somerset, Baldwin, Saint Paul, White Bear, Woodbury and beyond. With members ranging in age from 21 to 84, the chorus offers a real intergenerational experience. Musical experience among members varies, and as a SAI chapter, the chorus focuses on music education and personal development

Valley Chamber Chorale members are talented singers committed to a high standard of performance. Just as our concerts display a dynamic diversity in programming and instrumentation, so do our singers reflect marvelous variety.
Our members are educators and students, physicians and attorneys, stay-at-home moms, clergy, pilots, corporate executives and professional musicians. Some have sung with the Chorale for more than 30 years - some have sung just a year.
Chorale members tend to be actively involved in the community and sing with the group as a way to share the gift of music with our St. Croix Valley audiences. There are those who travel as far as 40 miles and some who walk down the block to meet for our Monday night rehearsals. The group is very welcoming toward new members.

A portion of the memorized program is sung a cappella, to feature the beauty of the human voice. Musical growth for singers is a priority goal in an atmosphere of pleasant camaraderie. Valley Jazz Voices (VJV) brings together singers and audiences who are passionate about jazz vocal music.
Directed by Jeff Olmsted, VJV performs a rich and diverse repertoire in four part harmony, drawing from swing, bebop, cool, Brazilian and pop-inspired jazz arrangements. Based in Northampton, Massachusetts, Valley Jazz Voices is the longest-running community jazz vocal ensemble in Western Mass, starting in 2014.
Valley Jazz Voices welcomes singers of all genders, ages and abilities, including seasoned professionals, aspiring students and dedicated amateurs.
The ensemble typically performs three times per season accompanied by a professional jazz trio at Western Mass. jazz venues, First Night Northampton and senior residences. The group of 25 to 30 singers of all genders hail from up and down Western Massachusetts and even from Connecticut.
Valley Jazz Voices has generated great enthusiasm from audiences and the jazz community, as it fills an important need for jazz singers and audiences in the Western Mass. region.
The Valley of the Moon Chamber Ensemble (VOMCE) was conceived by the five "founding members" of the Ensemble (Brian Sebastian, Sheila Whitney, Shannon Howlett, Jerome Smith, and Greg Grabow) during an informal Christmas party at Brian's home in 2006. Over the course of the following year, the concept grew and singers were added, rounding out the Ensemble with eight voices - two on each part.
VOMCE gave its debut performance in December 2007, singing a Christmas concert at the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art as a benefit for the museum. It was a smashing success. Since then, the group has evolved, increasing its membership to 16 voices, deepening technical and artistic performances, and gaining notoriety in the community and a loyal and enthusiastic audience. With an embrace of 500 years of a capella classical choral repertoire, VOMCE has performed a holiday and a Spring program every year since. In July 2016 VOMCE continued to break new ground with its first-ever summer pop-up concert at Madrone Vineyard Estates in Glen Ellen. As with every concert since 2007, VOMCE donates the concert proceeds to local charitable arts programs through its collaboration with the Sonoma Community Center.
VOMCE has also been honored to perform privately, including for San Francisco's prestigious Francisca Club; the Sonoma Valley Fund at Rick and Renee Dellar's wine cave in 2010; and at a wedding mass at St. Francis Solano Roman Catholic Church in 2011. In May 2012 we were privileged to perform original choral works by our accompanist emeritus John Burke at the retrospective concert celebrating his achievements, at Trinity Episcopal Church. In 2014 and 2015 we were honored to perform for the Sonoma International Film Festival dinner. And at our 10th Spring concert we were honored to perform the world premier of Bradley Ellingboe's "The Reason For My Song".
We have had a renaissance in our chorus in the past three years! Singing harmony is a fantastic way to spend your spare time. We have learned so much to improve our voice production quality and voice blending. We've also expanded our song choices...some non-traditional barbershop, modern and fun, innovative tunes! As a group, we have much to offer you if you love singing! This is an incredibly enjoyable hobby!
Valley Women's Ensemble is a local Phoenix choir that performs across Arizona. We are made up of talented and experienced singers who have a passion for music and the performing arts.
The Vanderbilt Community Chorus was formed in the spring of 2000 and has been actively performing and advancing choral artistry ever since.
We are comprised of singers from all over the greater Nashville community. Some are affiliated with Vanderbilt University, some are not. We all share a love of singing as well as a thirst for the choral experience that we enjoy in a group of this size and ability. Our programs are just as likely to showcase J.S. Bach as they are Stephen Sondheim, Jake Runestad or Moses Hogan.
We typically perform two or three concerts per season and members are auditioned by the director in August and sometimes at other times of the year. While we usually perform on campus, we embarked upon our first-ever European tour to Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic in May of 2017 and plan to tour internationally on a regular basis.
