Coats

The Coats vocal band started on the street corners of Seattle, Washington's famous Pike Place Market. Singing for tourists, locals, fish vendors, and fellow buskers, their humble ambitions of earning a few clams to fight off the tuition bills quickly evolved into a full-time international performance career. They've since won national vocal competitions, sang for the President of the United States, and have been fortunate enough to share the stage with such talented fellow entertainers as Ronnie Milsap, Trisha Yearwood, Montgomery Gentry, The Beach Boys, Tanya Tucker, Billy Dean, Crystal Gayle, and Colin Ray, just to name a few, all while continuing their tradition of outreach performances and workshops supporting music in schools throughout the northwest.

Coda Chorus

We sing a wide variety of music in various styles and languages including classical, folk songs, Christmas carols, Broadway standards, jazz standards, and novelty numbers. We are always looking for new members! If you love to sing, we would love to have you join the CODA Chorus. No prior experience or auditions required!

Coeur d'Alene Chorus

This group of talented women sings a wide range of music - from Broadway classics to yesterday's and today's popular songs - in the uniquely American barbershop style of four-part, a Capella harmony.

Colla Voce of the Sierra-a non-profit arts organization in Auburn, California-started in 2005 as an adult group of chamber singers under Founding Artistic Director, Janine Dexter. The goal was to bring professional standards of performance of choral music to the foothills. The group developed a large following and has received glowing reviews.

Collective Measures

We are a co-ed post-collegiate A Cappella group in the Boston area in our 20's and early 30's who love to sing and have fun together. We enjoy performing for our friends and family at different venues around Boston and when we aren't doing that we are singing at different events like weddings, corporate parties, or even wedding proposals! We arrange our own songs and enjoy performing a wide variety of styles to ensure each member of the audience can connect to at least one song!

College Park Chorale

The College Park Chorale was founded in 2013 as a program of the College Park Arts Exchange. The Chorale is a fun, low key community choir of about 50 members. We perform a wide variety of choral music at two concerts per year, as well as in local community events.

The Chorale program has grown to include a Women's Choir and a Chamber Choir. The focus of the groups remains to welcome all who wish to sing and to create community through music.

College Park Youth Choir

The College Park Youth Choir is led by our talented and energetic director, Christopher Fominaya. You may also know Mr. Fominaya from his work with Greenbelt Creative Kids Camp, Prince George's Teen Theatre, the University Park Elementary School music program and Laurel High School. He is currently pursuing a Masters degree at the Peabody.

The Youth Choir invites all children aged 5 and up to learn about singing and performing. Two ensembles, the Youth Choir and Vocetti, help students learn at different levels. College Park Youth Choir (CPYC) focuses on choral skills and musicianship, while Vocetti moves on to advanced part singing.

Colorado Children's Chorale

For more than three decades, the Colorado Children's Chorale has brought its artistry and charm to audiences throughout the world. Colorado Choir

The Colorado Choir, founded in 1976, is one of the most dynamic influences in the Colorado music scene. In its history, it has presented more than fifty performances with the Denver Symphony Orchestra. Today the choir specializes in performing significant compositions for a cappella choir. Celebrating its 43rd season, The Colorado Choir continues to evolve as an important part of the community by providing classical choral literature through its concert schedule and other public appearances.

Colorado Chorale

Formed in 1970, the Colorado Chorale is known for excellence in choral technique, creative musical collaborations and a dedication to ensuring that a love and knowledge of music is passed on to future generations.

The Chorale's 90-100 auditioned singers come from diverse vocations, such as teachers, business people, retirees, realtors, lawyers, and entrepreneurs. The Chorale presents four major concerts a year- large choral works with orchestra as well as shorter pieces, including new works by local composers that we premier.

Each of our concerts has a community outreach project, growing our awareness and understanding of the many needs of the Denver metro area. Our projects have supported Ashes to Art, Denver Actors' Fund, Mexican Cultural Center, Children's Hospital, and more.

Colorado Chord Company

he Denver MountainAires Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS) started in Denver in 1975 and has functioned continuously since. We have won awards from BHS, and have been chosen to represent the USA at the 75th Anniversary of D-Day in France and the 80th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. We focus on fun and singing and we welcome men that want to sing and make new friends. While we strive for quality singing, we keep the pressure low and appreciate good times together. Colorado Hebrew Chorale

The Colorado Hebrew Chorale was organized in 1993 as an independent community chorus in order to promote, perform, and celebrate the music of the Jewish experience. Over its 30 years, the Colorado Hebrew Chorale has served the ROcky Mountain region in song by bringing this unique repertoire to underserved populations and in collaboration with performing groups and organizations of all kinds.

Colorado Repertory Singers is a Broomfield, CO based choral organization presenting diverse repertoire in concerts throughout the Front Range. CRS provides singers of all ages an environment that encourages musical growth and fosters a sense of community.

CRS was formed in January 2002 by Director Emeritus, Ronald J. Williams, to create an accessible community choir bringing diverse music to the community.. The auditioned members of the chorus share a love of music and a commitment to excellence.

Our organization provides for the education, cultural enlightenment, and entertainment of the public through choral music. In order ensure that performances of diverse music are available for future generations, CRS bridges generations and affords mentoring opportunities to young singers.

Colorado Springs Children's Chorale

In its 44 years of existence, and with a low turnover rate among its artistic and executive management, the Colorado Springs Children's Chorale has developed a unique and specific philosophy. This philosophy aims to use high standards of performance and professionalism to instill in CSCC singers a set of values that propel them towards a lifetime of achievement and excellence.

Colorado Springs Chorale

Founded in 1956, the Colorado Springs Chorale is the oldest continuously performing community organization for singers in the state of Colorado. The Chorale contributes to the cultural richness of the Pikes Peak Region while providing an artistically rewarding choral experience for talented singers.

The Chorale is a 120-voice auditioned adult ensemble and it is the premier symphonic chorus for the Pikes Peak Region. Each season the Chorale performs at its independently-produced concerts, and it also collaborates with ensembles in the region, including the Colorado Springs Philharmonic, Chamber Orchestra of the Springs, U.S. Air Force Academy Band, Opera Theatre of the Rockies, and others.

Colorado Symphony Chorus

This acclaimed chorus is featured with the Colorado Symphony in over twenty performances annually at Boettcher Concert Hall and across the Rocky Mountain region, most notably with Bravo! Vail and the Aspen Music Festival, singing with such orchestras as the New York Philharmonic, and the Philadelphia Orchestra. For over two decades, the Chorus has been featured each summer at the world-renowned Aspen and Vail music festivals, performing masterworks under the baton of notable conductors such as Yannick Nezet-Seguin, Alan Gilbert, Murry Sidlin, Robert Spano, and Jaap VanZweden. At home, the chorus performs under the direction of Colorado Symphony Music Director Brett Mitchell, Colorado Symphony Associate Conductor Christopher Dragon, Chorus Director Duain Wolfe, and guest conductors from around the world.

Columbia Choirs

Columbia Choirs, a 501c3 nonprofit organization, is a community based, non-sectarian family of choirs training singers in nine choirs, ages pre-school through adult. Since 1984 we have been bringing singers together for international award-winning music training and performance opportunities. At present Columbia Choirs is serving approximately 250 singers from 30 communities on Seattle's Eastside as well all supporting worthy causes in the wider community.

Columbia Chorale of Wenatchee

The Columbia Chorale was formally organized in 1983 by Patsy Ford and Chris Jeffris, and directed by Dick Lapo, then professor of music at Wenatchee Valley College. In its early years the group of about 30 singers was affiliated with the North Central Washington Museum and held concerts there. Mr. Lapo was joined and then succeeded as director by Brad Miller. Other former directors include Dan Jackson and Dr. Margaret Licon.

Dr. Mike Hibbett was appointed director in 1999. Under his leadership the group has grown to a membership of more than 75 singers who perform three completely different concert repertoires each year, and have appeared at various community functions such as Festival of Trees, Leavenworth Choral Festival, and fund-raising events for organizations such as Spurs & Spokes, Mobile Meals and the Wenatchee Valley College Foundation.

Columbia Pro Cantare is a nationally recognized mixed chorus of auditioned volunteer singers based in Howard County which seeks to present the finest choral literature in concerts of high artistic quality to a growing regional audience. It aspires to provide enriching musical experiences for musicians and non-musicians alike

Since the Spring of 1977, the Columbia Pro Cantare has delighted Howard County and metro area audiences with its concerts of music ranging from the classics of opera, oratorio, and the concert stage to American and European folk and spiritual music. Founded by Director Frances Motyca Dawson, as a professionally trained volunteer chorus to sing nine times with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra at its Howard County concerts and to bring high quality musical experiences to local audiences with its own independent performances, CPC has more than fulfilled its purpose over the thirty-six years.

As a choral group, the Columbia Pro Cantare raises its voice in song, trying our best to communicate stories about the human condition, whether it's about joy, love, hope, pain or sorrow. Today, we elevate our voice support of the protest pouring out from our cities and communities in response to the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and countless other Black Americans due to racial hatred, bigotry, and systemic practices that treat them less justly or humanely than other Americans.

Columbus Swiss Singers

On April 20, 2016, the Helvetia Mannerchor and the Edelweiss Damenchor formally merged to form the Schweizerchor Columbus, or as most people call us, The Columbus Swiss Singers.

In the middle of the nineteenth century, movements to establish democratic governments arose in central Europe. To capitalize on their love of singing and to teach democratic ways to the people, singing societies were created in Switzerland and Germany. As the Swiss emigrated to America, they brought their singing societies with them. Thus, they created a cultural institution that would preserve the traditions of the Fatherland and provide a place where new immigrants could find comfort and friendship.

Columbus Symphony Chorus

The Columbus Symphony Chorus, established in 1960, performs regularly with the Columbus Symphony Orchestra to present expansive choral-orchestral works at the iconic Ohio Theatre. Comprising 130 skilled volunteer singers from the Central Ohio region, the chorus showcases its versatility by performing a repertoire that spans from Bach to the twenty-first century.

Columbus Women's Chorus

Patty Daniels and Rose Zingrone were the founding mothers of Columbus Women's Chorus (CWC). The two planned and advertised an organizational meeting, which took place on November 2, 1989 and was attended by thirteen women. After a discussion of ideas and vision, Naomi Weinert, a charter member, reluctantly agreed to become the first Artistic Director. CWC began practicing in the homes of singers, but soon began renting rehearsal rooms in various local churches.

CWC's first performance was March 17, 1990, at the National Lesbian Conference Regional Caucus Meeting. Soon after, we joined the Sister Singers Network and, to date, have participated in five national Sister Singers Festivals. In 1992, we began our tradition of an annual spring concert. In 2000, CWC achieved 501(c)(3) status, incorporated in the State of Ohio, and formed a board of directors, with both community volunteers and CWC member-singers.

Also in 2000, CWC was awarded the Montreal Women's Memorial Award, given by the Lesbian Business Association "to a group that has contributed to the empowerment of women in Central Ohio."

Committed

Committed is an a cappella singing group comprised of six educated, young, men who love creativity, music, and God. The group began in 2003 at Forest Lake Academy and solidified their sound while at school at Oakwood University in Huntsville, AL. Committed has grown to be a very sought after a cappella group for many events around the United States, and also overseas.

Committed has been compared to many a cappella groups like Take 6 and Boyz II Men. However, what sets Committed apart is their versatility. Four out of six of the members are instrumentalists and all of them are able to sing various styles of music from gospel, pop, R&B, contemporary worship, and jazz. Their versatility and goal to inspire all they encounter has kept them creative and has placed them on major stages such as NBC's "The Sing Off."

Common Ground

We were originally formed as Boise Pride Chorale in March 2000. In 2002 the Chorale was reorganized as Idaho Voices for Diversity, In 2008 the chorus rebranded as Common Ground Community Chorus.

Common Woman Chorus

Our name is derived from a Judy Grahn poem that reads, in part, "a common woman is as common as a common loaf of bread . . . and will rise." The Chorus began in 1983 as a feminist chorus. We celebrate our heroes, reflect on the personal and political struggles of women and the disenfranchised, and are committed to musical excellence and social change.

Membership is open to all woman-identified, gender-nonconforming, and transgender individuals, with a goal of diversity in ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, interests and beliefs.

The Common Woman Chorus unites a choral community of richly diverse voices to nurture high quality musicianship and to be a beacon for justice, equality, and love through the healing power of music.

Commonwealth Chorale

We are an 80-member auditioned non-professional chorus in greater Boston performing a broad repertoire of choral music. ommonwealth Chorale is dedicated to creating musical performances that delight and touch the heart of both audience and performers alike by bringing to life the expressive power and intent of the composer. We will not have done our job if you leave a CC concert unmoved.

Commonwealth Chorale presents both beloved masterpieces and new works we frequently commission. We have taken on challenging works that non-professional groups rarely tackle, such as Poulenc's Mass in G and Milhaud's Psaumes. Our most recent commission, in 2019, is a work by Carson Cooman, As We Are Changed, in honor of Maestro Carrier's forty years with the Chorale. We believe in growing and stretching musically, and we think it's fun.

Commonwealth Youthchoirs (CY) is a non-profit, community-based, non-denominational 501(c)3 arts organization headquartered in the Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia that proudly administers five distinct programs that nurture a love of singing and a desire for excellence in over 800 young people in the Southeastern Pennsylvania and South Jersey region. CY offers outstanding choral education and life-changing performance opportunities to its young people here at home and abroad.
