This is a highly practical and attractive, yet quite simple, song for anointing during confirmation. As a plus, it is bilingual. The English refrain is enriched by a Spanish, musically independent descant. The verses-almost like a litany of the saints-call out a long list of Christian names (Anglo and Hispanic) to which the eventual response is "Come and be sealed." Other names can easily be added or substituted, even those of the entire class.
Composer: Tony Alonso

Arranger: Gerard Chiusano | Composer: Tom Franzak
Psalm 69, a psalm of deep lament, is given a stark treatment in this setting. It is a crying out by any community that witnesses injustice or persecution, whether first-hand or on a global level. In the words of the composer, "I imagined that...those singing might hear their own song of lament resonating and repeating from others in the assembly."
Composer: Marty Haugen
Adapted from Psalm 104, this somewhat Taize-like setting offers an eight-measure melody with up to twelve verses that fit over the same accompaniment, and includes various parts for treble and bass instruments. In addition, the refrain may be sung as a three-voice canon over a specially provided ostinato accompaniment. The C instrument parts are for a treble C instrument and a bass C instrument.
