The composer sets this piece up with an original tune on the text "Alleluia! Alleluia! Cantate Jesu Christe." The tune is then repeated overlaid with "Alleluia! Sing to Jesus" to hyfrydol. The third time through these two melodies and texts are joined by a third, alleluia no. 1, "Alleluia, alleluia, give thanks to the risen Lord," all with extremely great effect.More music for small choirs

Chris de Silva has adapted the words of Psalm 27 and I Corinthians 1 and paired them with a gentle and flowing setting. The option for a string quartet accompaniment is offered, and a lovely instrumental interlude is possible.

This piece can be used as a mantralike refrain over which the verses can be layered. It is a gentle song-a comforting reminder of God's undying love in times of hardship, sorrow, anger, or guilt. Refrain may be used as ostinato. For cantor or soloist.
Composer: Michael Mahler
A versatile piece that is useful at the conclusion of any eucharistic celebration. An expanded choral arrangement is provided, but it may be done as a simple congregational hymn.ÊÊ

Few pieces are as simple and straightforward as this, while still providing an array of choices for how it can be performed. Written with 3 sung lines (mixed or equal voices) that are repeated, the effect can be quiet and intimate or strong and determined-or a combination! Performance suggestions are in the printed music, but listening to the recording (Walk in Peace, CD-908) will spark your imagination with even more possibilities.C Instrument part is only for "Upon This Path"Guitar chords only appear for "Upon This Path"

John Bell's text for this traditional Scottish melody admits that were I the perfect child of God, I'd gladly follow Jesus. But because I'm a product of the frail human condition I look for God's grace to make me that person. The arrangers have given this song a folklike treatment with piano imitating the finger picking of a folk guitar, and minimal two-then three-part chordal harmonies.
