Written as a fanfare-like concert opener, bells announce the choir in the age-old tradition of church bells, but with the added possibilities of handmade or found-object bells, as people gather in a spirit of festive celebration, worship and art. The choir can use triangles of varying sizes, bells, or anything which strikes metal-on-metal, the number and variety are limited only by imagination and balance.

This English sea shanty, already a success in SATB and 3-Part Mixed voicings, is now available for men's chorus, just the way it would have been heard originally when sung by sailors as they pulled long heavy ropes on early Navy vessels

This lively arrangement for TTBB chorus and piano is based on a sturdy American hymn tune with a text by Reginald Heber. A banjo inspired piano accompaniment provides sparks while the tune is presented first in unison, then in canon, next adorned with mirrored countermelodies, with the refrains growing in intensity following each verse, culminating in a dramatic, a cappella outburst. Duration: 2:15.

Commissioned for the 2010 Southern Division ACDA Men's Honor Choir, David Brunner's broad and majestic music paired with James Broughton's powerful words, combine to make the perfect piece for men's chorus. In the text are found unusual juxtapositions of seeming opposites: percussive silences, the intimate roar, the singing void, and a strong bond of brotherhood: thriving on affection and closer to me than my own children. Let your ears ring with the sound the stars make. Duration: ca. 4:00.

Created from the texts of live interviews, here is music that explores the notion of family by a community coming to terms with the creation of a family in a society that has not, until now, legally accepted non traditional relationships. It takes as its thesis the idea that love is the only thing that can establish a family and that love is what binds us all.

Written for and dedicated to Diane Loomer, founding director of the male chorus, Chor Leoni, this is a reflective arrangement of what is often a boisterous tavern song, capturing the sad sentiment of the lyrics.
