Alleluia is a choral arrangement of a famous melody from the third movement of one of Mozart's best-known works, the motet Exsultate, jubilate (K. 165). The third movement was originally scored in F Major for soprano and an orchestra comprised of two oboes, two horns, strings, continuo and organ. The editor has reduced this orchestration for keyboard and has added modern clefs as well as tempo and dynamic indications where appropriate. The source for this edition is W. A. Mozarts Samtliche Werke, Series 3/2, publlished by Breitkopf and Hartel (1876-1905)
Arranger: Patrick Liebergen | Composer: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
Sheer magic! Donald Moore has created a partner song arrangement of the traditional "Dona Nobis Pacem" canon and added a contrasting section with call-and-response, "Grant us peace for every nation." A flute obbligato (optional C Instrument) soars above the choir. Simple to teach, simply wonderful! For Lent, Peace Sunday, World Communion or any time, for worship and school concerts. Suggested scriptures: Psalm 72, John 14: 27, Romans 5: 1-2, Ephesians 2: 14-22, Philippians 4: 4-9, Colossians 3: 12-17
Arranger: Donald Moore
