As an award-winning member of ASCAP, Dr. Young had more than 100 choral compositions published by some of the most prestigious publishing companies in the United States. It was his work with the Baylor Chamber Singers and the beautiful performance venue of the Armstrong Browning Library that provided much of the inspiration for his numerous choral compositions.

The title alone makes us think of musical excellence, and Robert Young's setting of the William Austin (1587-1633) poem more than meets the demand. Celebrating the incarnation of Christ, this piece contains the classic sounds for which Robert Young has become famous. Excellent for church or concert.
Arranger: Robert H. Young
Robert Young's choral writings are famous for their warm, rich voicings, suspensions and resolutions. Using the poem of one of his favorite authors, Christina Rossetti, he has created another small masterpiece. It was written for Schola Cantorum of Texas (Dr. Gary Ebensberger, Director) and performed at the Texas Music Educators Convention in February, 2000.
