This gorgeous song has been recorded by some of the greatest singers of our time from 1918 to present. Kirby Shaw's arrangement gives us a slow swing, almost New Orleans-style feel and is a great show piece for any concert.

This standard is superbly arranged for jazz choirs of all levels. Greg Jasperse is a composer, arranger, recording artist and educator who currently lives in Los Angeles. Greg enjoys working with a wide range of ages and has conducted throughout North America and Europe. As an educator, Greg has served as a clinician for show choirs and jazz camps as well as directed many vocal festivals and honor choirs in the United States and Canada, including many All-State choirs. Mr. Jasperse has several commercial recordings available of his piano arrangements. Greg writes often for Shawnee Press, most notably his VoiceDance series. Bailando is the gerund of the Spanish word, "bailar" which means to dance, move rhythmically to music, as well as to skip or bounce in a dance-like manner. Certainly Greg's arrangement of Bailando fits the bill!
