Russell Robinson : Moonglow

This 1930s standard starts off with melancholy solos between boy and girl. It then takes on the familiar, rhythmic swing that we all know and love. Russ Robinson lets the song shine through with this arrangement. Repetition, plus simple and obtainable harmonies make this a wonderful selection for many age groups and a perfect teaching piece of swing and jazz. Elegant and smooth.
