Bob Chilcott (Edited by) : Spirituals For Choirs An exciting collection of 20 specially commissioned SATB arrangements almost all of which are a cappella. Beginning with individual vocal entrances in a gospel-ballad feel, this arrangement of the popular spiritual quickly becomes jazzy and syncopated in style with a walking vocal bass line. Lively with a contrasting bridge section, a descant is added to the ending chorus creating a choral full of diverse teaching, learning and performance options and excitement.
