This contemporary carol for Christmas proclaims the message that salvation has come with the birth of an infant king. The opening pages of the composition feature the soprano section, first in unison supported by the organ, followed by the rest of the choir providing an angelic a cappella accompaniment support to the tune. By the ending verse, the men's voices have a few measures with the melody, the altos and soprano divisi providing the angelic soundscape. All voices merge to unison for the final, fading phrase.
