This arrangement brings out all the genre's characteristic driving rhythms, strongly marked syncopations, and added-beat patterns, with resonant harmonic divisi in all parts. It builds in a pounding crescendo to a climactic glissando blast on the train whistle. It is a genuine foot-stomper.
