The Sesame Street Theme is the familiar opening theme song of Sesame Street. It is registered with ASCAP as "Can You Tell Me How to Get to Sesame Street" with several alternate titles including "Sunny Day". It is normally sung by The Kids. The theme introduces the magical world of Sesame Street through its lyrics, stating that it is a place where "the air is sweet" and filled with "friendly neighbors," and frequently asks the now-famous question "Can you tell me how to get to Sesame Street?"
