This 6-part treble piece was written for a choral festival where numerous choirs were present. Here, each choir represents a different animal or insect in the poem and sings a verse assigned to its own melody. The choirs then combine with all the other groups to sing the refrain, telling how the creatures fly away until there are none. The piece is composed for piano accompaniment. Difficulty Level: Medium Advanced Shildren or Easy Adult.
Composer: Ruth Watson Henderson
