Minneapolis, MN-based all-male Contemporary quartet Marcoux Corner brings us a beautifully-crafted Christmas album of 10 tunes, all with cutting-edge arrangements by members of the group. Mel Torme's "The Christmas Song," "Kay Thompson's Jingle Bells," the two traditional carols "Oh, Come, Oh Come Emmanuel" and "God Rest Ye, Merry Gentlemen," the pop favorites "Frosty the Snowman," "Christmas Time is Here," "Baby It's Cold Outside" (featuring Nancy Harms) and "What are You Doing New Year's Eve," both by Frank Loesser. Our final favorite is the very funny "Huge on the Luge," written by the possibly fictional Moxy Fruvous. "Tinsel" is a sweet-harmonied, big fun Christmas collection from Josh, David, Kevin and Brent, our friends at Marcoux Corner! |
