Mixed Community Chorus Harvard Pro Musica is a classical, community based choral ensemble with a long history in the Greater Boston area. Founded in 1969 by 18 enthusiastic singers, it has been in continuous existence since then and currently includes 60 avocational singers from Harvard, Acton, Ayer, Bolton, Boxboro, Concord, Lancaster, Leominster, Lunenburg, Shirley and other surrounding towns. Harvard Pro Musica performs two major concerts a year, and also appears in smaller ensembles in collaboration with other musicians in our communities. In recent years we have performed with the Nashoba Valley Chorale, the Sounds of Stow, the Concord Band, the Orchestra of Indian Hill, the Bromfield School in Harvard, and the Treble Chorus of New England. We have performed in historic spaces such as the Harvard Historical Society, the First Church, Lancaster (Bulfinch), and Fruitlands Museum. Founded - 1969. Update This Listing |
