Zuza Goncalves
Zuza Goncalves is a graduate of the eclectic sounds, inclusive spirit, and rock'n'roll scene of his hometown, São Paulo, Brazil, as well as UNESP Art Institute's program in conducting/composition. Since 2000, Zuza has been integrating vocal improvisation, body percussion, movement, and cooperative practices, leading workshops in Rome, New York City, and Los Angeles. He serves as a teaching artist for Sesc Vila Mariana's Music Centre and coleads the "Musica do Círculo" project, which hosts biannual retreats in Brazil drawing participants from all over the world.
