Jaime Babbitt has sung for millions of people, though not all at once. She started singing professionally at 15, performed at bars, clubs, corporate events, parties and weddings, fronted her own band and toured with the incomparable Leon Russell as his backup singer and percussionist. As a session singer in New York City, Los Angeles and Nashville, her schizophrenic voice has been heard on hundreds of national and regional TV and radio jingles for products such as Dr. Pepper, Diet Coke, Coca-Cola, Chevrolet, Sears, Hanes, Folgers, Pillsbury, Ocean Spray, Claritin, Starburst, Pringles, and Denny's, to name but a few; she also earned the distinction of being selected as a voice of one of the moles for the "Whac-A-Mole" board game.
Jaime has sung both live and digitally with George Strait, Courtney Love, Leon Russell, Jimmy Webb, Willie Nelson, Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil, Miley Cyrus, Billy Ray Cyrus, Johnny Mathis, Lamont Dozier, Ashley MacIsaac, Phoebe Snow, Robert Lamm, Rosie O'Donnell and on projects for Disney ("Lightning McQueen's Fast Tracks", "Mater's Car Tunes", "Handy Manny") ... and for Curious George. She has worked as a production coordinator and talent contractor for Russo/Grantham Productions, a commercial music production facility in New York City, as a music/activities associate for Chapin Home for the Aging (where she sang for the residents both in concert and on a one-to-one basis), and was an English and Writing major at Columbia University. Jaime has studied voice for many years and in addition to her professional singing career has become a vocal, studio and stage performance teacher/coach both for Disney Records in Los Angeles and privately in Nashville and Los Angeles.
