Male Barbershop Chorus

Based in York, PA

The White Rose Chorus is the York, PA chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. The chapter was founded in 1945 as the York Chapter, SPEBSQSA, Inc. and is one of over 750 chapters in North America.

The chorus performs around the community in senior care facilities. We have performed festivals including Wingstock and Christmas Magic, appeared on the Culture and Main television show, and sang the National Anthem for the York Revolution from 2013 to 2018. We compete in the Central Division of the Mid-Atlantic District in regional contests against other chapters. The Chorus won the "Most Improved Chorus" Award in 2018 and advanced to the "AA" plateau for the first time. The plateau system was established in 2006.
