Male Barbershop Chorus Under the direction of Jim Koenig, The Tower City Chorus is an all male Barbershop Harmony Chorus that entertains large and small audiences throughout the Greater Cleveland Area. The Chorus has been ringing chords since 1940, at a variety of venues, such as theaters, hotels, retirement homes, church halls, festivals, and other special events. The Tower City Chorus sings a variety of music from the old standards such as "Good Bye My Coney Island Baby", "Lida Rose" from the musical "The Music Man" to ballads such as "What A Wonderful World", "Dream A Little Dream of Me". We also sing genres such as patriotic, religious, show tunes, and many other styles of music from many different generations. We hope 2021 will bring us back to our normal schedule with a Fall stage show and our smaller group the "Midday Singers" that performs during the daytime hours. Under the direction of Don Kriebel, this group of about 15-20 men perform at Nursing Homes and Retirement Communities and other special events or festivities as requested. A Cappella.
