The San Luis Obispo Master Chorale is dedicated to presenting major works for chorus and orchestra through public performances and educational programs, enriching the performers, audience, and community.

Founded - 1984.   Auditioned.

Audition Policy - Auditions are held twice yearly (September and January) at St. Paul s Catholic Church in Pismo Beach. We welcome new experienced choral musicians. The ability to sight-read music is required. Prepare an audition piece. This could be as simple as a hymn, a folk song, a selection from musical theater, or a selection from classical repertoire. Please limit the prepared piece to 3 minutes in length. One verse or 2 to 3 pages is adequate. Bring a copy of your selection for the accompanist (pianist). An accompanied piece is preferred to singing a cappella.

Rehearsal Information - Rehearsals are held Monday nights, typically from 7 pm 9:30 pm at St. Paul s Catholic Church, Pismo Beach. Concert week rehearsals are held at the Performing Arts Center San Luis Obispo.
