Male Barbershop Chorus

Based in Rock Falls, IL

The RRVBC has 52 active members, ranging in age from 16 to 88. While many of its members live in the Sterling - Rock Falls area, it has members that come from all over Northwestern Illinois.

In addition to weekly rehearsals, RRVBC's annual events include a show each Spring; the Youth In Harmony workshop, which provides high school students from over a half a dozen area school in the Sauk Valley area the opportunity to learn barbershop style singing; Sermon & Song Programs at Area Churches; participating in area Christmas Walks; and Singing Valentines throughout the Sauk Valley. These performances allow us to raise money. While a portion of the funds covers chorus expenses, we are most proud of our ability to make financial contributions each year to many area organizations. Since 1995, we have donated over $32,000!
