Childrens Chorus

Based in Pittsburgh, PA

The Pittsburgh School was founded in 2005 as the Oakland Girls Choir by Director Kathryn Barnard to give girls an opportunity to experience the joy and beauty of music and to sing in a supportive community of mutual respect and encouragement. Now the program has expanded from one choir of 15 girls to 6 choirs, including 3 levels of training choirs, a boy choir, and an outreach program, reaching over 100 students per week.
