Male Barbershop Chorus

Based in South Florida (Miami-Dade and Broward), FL

The Miamians have been South Florida's barbershop chorus since 1947. The Miamians are both a chapter within the Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS), and a lodge within the Society for the Preservation and Propagation of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in the United States (SPPBSQSUS). The Miamians founded the Music Medics, a program where quartets dressed in medical scrubs visits children in area hospitals and sings Disney favorites for them. This program is now active in 50 chapters across the United States.

We do this by providing community services singing at local children's hospitals, community events, concerts, and hosting the weekly rehearsals of The Miamians.
