Beginning with the Training Choir, boys can progress to Cadet, Town and Tour choirs, and upon graduation, participate in the Master's Choir. Currently, there are approximately 150 young boys and men participating, making it one of the largest and most active boychoirs in the United States. Masters Men s Choir seeks to be the premiere adult tenor-bass chamber ensemble in Arizona. MMC is an auditioned, changed-voice ensemble for collegiate and career men. High school juniors and seniors with excellent vocal and leadership abilities are also eligible to audition for membership in MMC. For the past 16 years, MMC has served as the adult extension of the Phoenix Boys Choir. This ensemble performs its own repertoire for advanced tenors and basses and may sing with the trebles to provide lower voice parts for mixed choral music. Auditions are open to all Phoenix Boys Choir alumni and changed-voiced men from the community. Auditioned. Directed by Herbert Washington. Audition Policy - No advanced preparation is required for auditions. Phoenix Boys Choir Building Update This Listing |
