Male Barbershop Chorus

Based in Syosset, NY

We're a group of some 30+ men who sing four-part a cappella harmony in the barbershop style both for our own enjoyment and to entertain our audiences. We are the Nassau Mid-Island Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, the largest chapter on Long Island, and will soon be celebrating our 71st anniversary.

Our chorus and quartets perform in the community, at hospitals, civic and charity events and we produce an annual show to support our activities. Our repertoire ranges from traditional barbershop to songs from the Great American Songbook to Elton John.

The Long Island Harmonizers chorus is available to entertain at your next function. We've performed at holiday and summer festivals in a variety of venues throughout Nassau and western Suffolk Counties.

We provide a varied repertoire to suit audiences of all ages guaranteed to put a smile on their faces and get them singing along. They ll have as much fun listening to us as we ll have performing for them.

Performances generally range from 30 to 45 minutes but can be tailored to suit your special needs and may include one or more quartets to add variety to the presentation. Book the chorus to add a unique and fun musical experience to your next function.

Audition Policy - If you love to sing you’ve come to the right place. The Long Island Harmonizers chorus is always looking for new members who enjoy singing as much as we do. We love welcoming new members and sharing our unique music. You do not need to be a trained musician or know how to read music to sing with us. All that’s needed is your ability to carry a tune, stay on pitch and a desire to have fun.
