Walking a labyrinth--a single-path puzzle--in order to reach the center is analogous to an inner journey to find one's spiritual center. We invite you to join Labyrinth Choir on our musical journey "seeking the heart of music through the art of singing."

Labyrinth Choir collaborates with its audience and with local artists in order to create a new type of thematic musical performance. The audience is invited to sing, speak, and dance, so that concerts become participatory events, rather than passive experiences.

Some ideas include creating podcasts for audience members to learn more involved, intricate pieces prior to the performance. The entire audience can then sing in four-part harmony with the choir to create beautiful vocal music. Labyrinth choir performs various genres of music: classical, spirituals, jazz, and popular songs.

We plan to feature local artists - painters, photographers, poets, writers, dancers - and give them opportunities to share their arts within the context of Labyrinth concerts.

Our musical mission includes supporting other local choral and instrumental ensembles and collaborating with them in performance.
