Community Chorus

Based in North Reading, MA

pswich River Community Chorus celebrates the unique power of choral music to connect diverse singers, audiences and communities as we pursue musical excellence. We welcome singers of all backgrounds and abilities and celebrate diversity.

We had our beginning in 1981 with a group of local music enthusiasts, organized to provide an opportunity for professional and amateur singers to get together to sing, learn, and share their love of music.

Our members not only represent North Reading, but many communities on the North Shore and throughout the Merrimack Valley.

We enjoy a mutually beneficial relationship with Aldersgate United Methodist Church, which has been our rehearsal space and concert hall for several years. We are entirely separate from the church organizationally. The chorus is non-sectarian and performs music from a variety of religious and secular traditions.
