Community Chorus

Based in Pennington, NJ

During our fall and spring concerts, we perform the works of major composers, spanning all musical genres, while introducing new works and arrangements.

In 2017 and 2018, the chorus was invited to sing at Carnegie Hall with the auditioned, 250-voice Masterwork Festival Chorus, under the direction of Dr. Bruce Chamberlain, Professor Emeritus from the University of Arizona. We were thrilled to be invited to return to Carnegie a third time, in June 2019, to perform the Schumann Requiem, Op. 148, conducted by our very own Heather Mitchell.

We have grown phenomenally, serving over the decades as a musical home to more than 900 singers. The group includes 80 members from Mercer, Hunterdon, Burlington, and Middlesex counties, in New Jersey, and Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The philosophy of the founders remains the same, however: to provide those who love to sing with the opportunity to learn and perform a variety of exceptional music under professional directorship. As always, auditions are not required.
