Community Chorus The Enfield Community Chorus found its beginnings in 1976 when Alice Allen and Joyce Young collaborated on a musical, "200 Years of American Music" to present as part of Enfield's bicentennial celebration. Brad Davis, of radio and TV fame, was the narrator. Sixty singers culled from local choirs joined together and enjoyed the experience so much that the group has continued to present annual Christmas concerts and, for a time, Easter concerts as well. Celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2016, the group averages about 55 members and presents a free Christmas concert at the Hazardville United Methodist Church on the first full weekend of December each year.
