Mixed Community Chorus Chicago-based minister, singer, songwriter, and choir director Dexter Walker shepherded his fledgling Zion Movement Chorale from its early days working out of his parents' basement in 2003 to a beloved gospel powerhouse responsible for self-released albums like 2007's vibrant Move, its 2011 follow-up Move 2, and 2013's Greater Than Before, their debut for Entertainment One. During the course of their career, Dexter Walker & Zion Movement have shared the stage with many well-known contemporary gospel peers including Tye Tribbett, Albertina Walker & the Caravans, Chicago Mass Choir, VaShawn Mitchell, and more. Known for his ambitious arrangements and passionate, dynamic direction, Walker and his group returned in 2018 with the album Hope. Contact Dexter Walker & Zion Movement Update This Listing |
