Female LGBT Chorus Patty Daniels and Rose Zingrone were the founding mothers of Columbus Women's Chorus (CWC). The two planned and advertised an organizational meeting, which took place on November 2, 1989 and was attended by thirteen women. After a discussion of ideas and vision, Naomi Weinert, a charter member, reluctantly agreed to become the first Artistic Director. CWC began practicing in the homes of singers, but soon began renting rehearsal rooms in various local churches.
