In the 18th Century, a Collegium Musicum was a loose organization of musicians - both professional and amateur - who came together to play music in coffeehouses, churches, and homes for their own pleasure, and the pleasure of those listening. We take our name from this, and strive to make our programs comfortable and enjoyable for all.

Collegium Cincinnati is a professional choral-orchestral ensemble that embraces both the old and the new, and we invite our patrons to join us on a musical journey unlike any other they have taken. We revere the great masters, and we celebrate the new works that are bound to inspire and astound.
