Community Chorus The Cantare Chorale, our symphonic choir of 100 auditioned voices, remains committed to bringing the highest musical standards to its performances, associating with the finest instrumentalists from Bay Area orchestras, and featuring nationally acclaimed vocal soloists. Under the direction of Founder and Artistic Director David Morales, the Chorale debuted in April 1999 with stunning performances of Beethoven's Missa Solemnis, and today is recognized as one of the finest community choral ensembles of its size in the Bay Area. Auditioned. Audition Policy - Cantare Con Vivo's adult choral ensembles consist of auditioned singers. The Chamber Ensemble is limited to 24 singers while the Cantare Chorale is a symphonic choir of approximately 110 singers. Auditions are conducted by the Artistic Director and are held by appointment prior to each respective concert series. Previous choral experience is essential. Those auditioning will be asked to vocalize, sing a brief solo of their choosing (aria, art or folk song, show tune, etc.) and sight-read choral selections provided. Update This Listing |
