Calliope is a unique ensemble built upon an innovative model of choral and instrumental collaboration. Serving the Boston area and beyond, Calliope performs rarely heard repertoire alongside more well-known works, enhancing the understanding and importance of both. Beyond presenting concerts, Calliope is dedicated to building bridges in our community with its Beneficiary Partnership Program, supports young musicians through our Mentorship Program, and is active in the creation of new music in its annual Call for Scores.

Audition Policy - Calliope holds auditions on a quasi-rolling basis, with applications accepted at any time, and open positions auditioned for in the weeks surrounding the beginning of a new rehearsal cycle. Interested performers are always welcome to submit their information for consideration.
