Community Chorus The Broomfield Civic Chorus, a non-profit singing group, was founded by Elis-Barbara Schipper in 1988. Over the years the group has grown from the original 25 members to a chorus of 40-45 singers. In June, 2007, the group joined other area choruses in performing Faure's "Requiem" at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
