Mixed Community Chorus The Chorale is a mixed-voice chorus composed of members from Virginia, D.C., and Maryland. Members are a mix of young professionals, older professionals, retirees, and everyone in between! They perform varied repertoire of smaller pieces and larger works for chorus and orchestra. Each season, the Chorale is honored to be part of the onstage chorus for the Messiah Sing-a-long at the Kennedy Center. Established in 1966, they have a long history of performing in special events, such as singing the national anthem at the MLB All-Star Game at Nationals Park, singing masterworks with the NIH Philharmonia including Brahms' Requiem and Beethoven's 9th Symphony, and community events like the 40th anniversary of Arlington Thrive and caroling for the Lee Highway Alliance Winter Festival of Lights.
