Community Chorus The Anything Goes Chorus is a mixed community chorus started in 1980 by jazz vocalist and director Ellen Robinson. The repertoire covers a variety of styles: jazz, popular, show tunes, a cappella, world music and oldies. Annual spring concerts combine both San Francisco and Oakland choruses to create a 50 member chorus with a performance at a major venue in the Bay Area. Their performances create a beautiful, moving and fun program that always has a few surprises with a sprinkling of choreography and props. In addition, the chorus performs at Bay Area assisted living facilities sharing the joy of singing with those who can't get out to hear music. Founded - 1981. Piano. Ongoing Tryouts. Directed by Ellen Robinson. Rehearsal Information - One group meets on Wednesdays in Oakland, two groups meet on Thursdays in San Francisco.
