Lake Shore Jive History
Lake Shore Jive Acappella is a wonderfully talented, established, semi-professional co-ed a cappella group in Chicago. Our members come from diverse backgrounds with one common goal: singing and performing brilliant acappella arrangements, while having a great time! Lake Shore Jive has performed at various venues all over Chicagoland and the US. We have sung the National Anthem at major sporting events and are available for hire at private parties. We sing all genres of music (current hits, jazz, pop, rock, oldies) by various artists, including: Coldplay, The Police, Jackson 5, Alanis Morissette, REM, Gotye, Colbie Caillat, The Beach Boys, Melissa Etheridge, Sara Bareilles, Seal, Ingrid Michaelson, Paul Simon, ELO, Depeche Mode, Smokey Robinson, Barenaked Ladies, Sarah McLachlan, The Beatles, and much more! Nothing is off limits. We pride ourselves on our amazing soloists, the vast range of music that we cover and our ability to target our performances to appeal to any audience. We are always interested in talented individuals to join our team of wonderful singers!
