We are a sixty-member community chorus from Truckee and surrounding areas. Founded in 2002 by Chris Nelson, we have expanded our repertoire to include music of all kinds - popular, sacred, classical, Broadway and Jazz. Each year, we hold concerts in December that help ring in the holiday season and in April to wake up Spring! We practice during the Fall and Winter Semesters at the Sierra College Truckee Campus and our program are supported by the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. Our two conductors, Susan Horst and Dr. Tom Acord, provide inspirational and fun rehearsals along with weekly clinics for all singers. The Chorus supports all musical arts in our area and recently collaborated with Truckee's Rec and Parks Department to stage Annie and a fabulous "pre-show" of musical numbers from many of our region's talented youngsters. We were also a Gold Sponsor of the recent Relay for Life in Truckee |
