Review: Coppell, TX-based Rhythmix is a multiple Sweet Adelines regional-winning champion and internationally ranked barbershop quartet, and "What A Ride" is their second CD release, the first being 1999's "En Route." 11 finely-crafted standards like "This Is Some Lucky Day," Ella Fitzgerald's "A Tisket A Tasket," "I Didn't Want to Fall," and "Yes, Indeed" and romantic heart-tuggers like Gershwin's "They Can't Take That Away From Me," "Their Hearts Were Full Of Spring," "If You Love Me, Really Love Me" and "Why Did I Choose You." The four finish strong with a jazzy, incongruous "Santa Claus is Comin' to Town" and a tongue-in-cheek, drama-ridden "High Heel Blues."
