Group.
he Big Chicken Chorus consists of men of good will who love to sing. We welcome men of all ages who have a desire to sing and perform for audiences locally, around the state of Georgia, with occasional out of state performances.
The BCC has performed throughout the United States, as well as in Europe and Canada. It is often a featured performer at events in our community, and sponsors its own shows to Standing Room Only audiences.
In 2007, the Big Chicken Chorus was selected by the Georgia Council for the Arts to be placed on their Touring Artist Roster. This designation has provided additional opportunities for the BCC to perform for other Georgia based non-profit organizations with financial assistance provided by the Georgia Council for the Arts

Review: The Big Chicken Chorus offers top entertainment value, with great songs and medleys such as "It's A Good Day," "Beer Barrel Polka" and "How Do I Get Out Of This Chicken Outfit" medley. Including the members of 1999 Quartet Champs Fred, whose Clay Hine is director of this band of barnyard barbershoppers, the Chorus placed third in Anaheim. Some of the arrangements, such as "I Can't Give You Anything But Love/L-O-V-E" and the "Jungle Book Medley," are a virtual comic revue, with patter, exaggerated phrasing and silly word play; however, when it's time to get serious - read: sentimental - the Chorus knows how to straighten up and fly, well, right. "Georgia," and "Old Folks At Home" are restrained, stately and graceful.
Songlist: It's a Good Day, Beer Barrel Polka, Georgia On My Mind, I Can't Give You Anything But Love / L-O-V-E, You Are My Sunshine, Jungle Book Medley, You Tell Me Your Dream, Steppin' Out Tonight / When Francis Dances With Me, Old Folks at Home, Sh-Boom, Brown Eyes Why Are You Blue, The Apples Medley, I Love You Truly, Chicken Hearted, How Do I Get Out of This Chicken Outfit, The Star Spangled Banner Medley
Review: Formed in 1986 by a group of guys who got together to sing barbershop in somebody's basement, the BCC has now grown to over 100 members, the largest barbershop chorus in the Southeast. The group has medaled in SPEBSQSA'S International Chorus Competition, placing as high as 3rd in 1999. They are joined by barbershop stars Fred, Riptide, Atlanta Power Company, Scruffy Murphy's and Mary Selano. 11 songs, from the title tune, "Silent Night" and "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town;" to "Beautiful Savior," "Sleigh Ride," "It Came Upon A Midnight Clear/First Noel/Joy To The World Medley" and "May The Good Lord Bless You and Keep You." The addition of the guest artists allows many solos and delightful variations in the sound of these classic Christmas tunes. We also liked the cover art of Santa's sleigh being pulled by eight extra-large chickens-"We Need" is one of the best barbershop Christmas CDs we've heard!
Songlist: We Need A Little Christmas, Silent Night, Santa Claus Is Coming to Town, Happy Holidays / The Holiday Season Medley, Christmas Time Is Here, Beautiful Savior, Sleigh Ride, Gesu Bambino, The Christmas Song, It Came Upon a Midnight Clear / The First Noel / Joy to the World, May the Good Lord Bless and Keep You
