Prolific Utah-based male sextet Voice Male has 8 excellent albums in the PAC catalog, including "Jingles," the 1999 CARA award for Best Holiday Album. The six men now can count 17 children in their families, who provide some guest vocals on "Kid Stuff." This wonderful children's album has 15 tunes, some silly and whimsical like "Song With No Words" (written by group member Mike Bearden), "Popcorn Popping," "Noodles On My Back," "Rubber Ducky" and "Bouncy Ball" and "The Sleepy" (both written by Mike Bearden and his wife Jill);" some Disney favorites like "Pecos Bill," "When I See An Elephant Fly" (from Dumbo), "It's a Small World," and "Circle of Life" (from The Lion King). We also loved the Michael Jackson song "ABC" (with the words changed to teach kids the alphabet), "Sing, Sing A Song" and Rodgers & Hammerstein's "Do Re Mi" (from The Sound of Music), Neil Diamond's (for the Monkees) "I'm A Believer," and the final cut, "Now The Day is Over." "Kid Stuff is Big Fun for kids of all ages, and is designed to get everyone learning singing along! |
