The TCC has performed an extensive and varied repertoire in prestigious venues throughout North America and Europe, including Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center and Royal Albert Hall, and is directed by its founder, Jean Ashworth Bartle. 15 songs, lightly accompanied by piano, organ, harp and flute. A couple of our favorites begin the program, J.S. Bach's lovely "Wir eilen mit schwachen" and "Suscepit Israel." Sir Edward Elgar's soaring "The Snow," Sir David Willcocks' "Psalm Trilogy," Claude Debussy's "Salut Printemps" and Stephen Hatfield's a cappella "Queen Jane" are also favorites. The voices of the Choir are unbelievably fine, and the material excellent. Another winner for the TCC! |
