Community Chorus Few things in life are as satisfying as joining a group of talented, enthusiastic singers and making beautiful music together every week. Since 2010, the Hudson Chorale, Westchester's largest chorus, has been performing in venues throughout the County, bringing the best in choral singing to the Hudson Valley. Traditionally the chorus prepares two concert programs a year, one performed in January and another in May/June; two performances are given of each program. Our concerts have included traditional choral pieces such as the Brahms Requiem, lesser known works such as the Mass in D by John Knowles Paine, more contemporary works by composers such as Morten Lauridsen, Jaakko Mantyjarvi, and Eric Whitacre. As our numbers have grown, so have our audiences, and we now enjoy a county-wide reputation for outstanding programming and superb artistry. Update This Listing |
