Mixed Choral Ensemble

Based in Portland, ME

We are an ensemble of ten singers performing a diverse repertory of music from Renaissance to commissioned works in multiple languages and historical practices. We take considerable care to match any event with an appropriately sized ensemble. Depending on the needs, Dirigo can be anything from an intimate quartet in a private function to a double choir in a baroque concert with a full orchestra.

Through the variable size and broad scope, Dirigo Ensemble is able to provide a unique service to our community. We bring support to Maine's local artists, inspiration to the next generation, and offer access to the world stage of music. This becomes possible by the way of dedication of each Dirigo singer.
