Northeast Ohio Encore Chorale History
Encore was established in 2007 based on the Creativity and Aging Study which found that older adults receive tremendous physical, mental, and emotional benefits by participating in professionally-led choral arts programs. Our repertoire may include selections from the American Songbook, Broadway show music, classical and opera, and secular or religious holiday music. We enjoy two 15-week semesters per year (Jan-May and Aug-Dec), each culminating in a concert performance which is free and open to the public. |
