Harmonious Soul History
Emerging from their charter group Rubyfruit (est. 1999) at Uconn, and formed in 2000, Harmonious Soul is an a cappella group whose fabulous women are deeply connected to this musical pastime. Dedicated to peace and equality, this group boasts an incredible record, having sung at many popular state events and venues. With an eclectic array of covers from James Taylor, Michael Jackson, Guns n Roses, Sweet Honey in the Rock, and many other artists, this group's music is as thought provoking as their sonority is deep. While drawing audiences with their blended sound, extensive range and their visual trademark of bright color splashes, this ensemble continues to perform in the state, singing from a self-invigorating and socially conscious repertoire. We are available to perform at wedding ceremonies and receptions, parties, fund-raisers and corporate or other events. |
