Welcome to the Northwest Choirs, home to the Northwest Boychoir and Vocalpoint! Seattle. Annually, 200 young singers enroll in our premier music education programs. These students -- boys ages 6 to 18, and girls 12 to 18 -- come from all corners of the Puget Sound region representing 115 diverse public and private elementary, middle and high schools. In our program, these children and young adults become skilled musicians and singers with a passion for the musical arts, and the unique ability to perform great choral literature and contemporary works at the highest professional levels. Considered the premier children's choirs in Seattle and the Pacific Northwest, the Northwest Choirs is an integral part of the region's cultural life. Northwest Choirs members perform regularly with the Seattle Symphony Orchestra, as well as other high-profile performing arts groups in the area.

Review: Released in November 1999, Northwest Boychoir and Vocalpoint! Seattle's fourth Christmas album: 'Tis the Season! The repertoire for this album includes a mix of traditional sacred music and favorite popular tunes. The traditional, sacred pieces were recorded at Bastyr University's chapel (formerly St. Thomas Center) with musicians from Seattle's professional orchestra and chamber groups. The popular pieces were recorded at Triad Studios in Redmond.

Review: This splendid recording of 15 traditional Christmas songs and carols displays the impressive vocal talents of the members of the Northwest Boychoir and the young men and women of Vocalpoint! Seattle. Released in 1994, this is the third holiday album recorded and produced under the direction of Joseph Crnko with Nathaniel Papadakis. With this album, the choirs have worked to recreate the splendor and magic of their annual Festival of Lessons & Carols presentations. To capture the distinct quality of the boychoir sound, the choirs recorded on location at West Seattle's beautiful Holy Rosary Church. Every effort was taken to retain the breathtaking resonance of Holy Rosary. To add to the beauty of this recording, the choirs are accompanied by musicians from Seattle's leading orchestras and chamber groups. The result is a rich, vibrant recording that fully reveals the talents of these ensembles.
