Cabaret Quartet was born when Pam, Holly and Donna performed together as part of two special public relations tours to China in 2002 and 2003. Returning home, they contacted Patty, a world-renowned Sweet Adelines tenor, and Cabaret was born. Recently the group placed 8th at the 2007 Internationals in Calgary. "Happy Hour" is a strong collection of mostly romance-related tunes like "Cornet Man," "Don't Take Your Love From Me," "Mr. Hooper's Fin-It-In-A-Minute Book," "The Man That Got Away," "Meet Me Where They Play the Blues," "You Turned the Tables on Me," "Young and Foolish," "As Long As You're Not In Love With Anyone Else/Undecided" and "Ain't Nobody Here But Us Chickens." With their beautiful, spirited harmonies and lyrics that can as easily lift up your heart or break it, Cabaret has broken into the top ten in the Sweet Adelines world, so we raise our glasses to these rising stars! |
